fer officially returns to Gaimin Gladiators

Brazilian Counter-Strike legend Fernando fer Alvarenga returns to the stage in Cologne, where ten years ago he claimed his second Major with SK.

Gaimin Gladiators confirmed his signing to the roster for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026. The 34-year-old fer will replace Joao "felps" Vasconcellos, who was unexpectedly removed from the team this week.

For fer, this is his first appearance for an organization in more than three years: the last time he played was in 2022 for the "last dance" lineup under the Imperial tag.

Gaimin Gladiators qualified for the Major in Cologne after a late surge in VRS points and will start the tournament from Stage 1, which begins on June 2. On social network X, the club stated: legends don’t stand still, fer returns and does it as a gladiator.
